When Rare Earth Venture acquired the property in 2008, a five-acre field was cleared for blueberry production. Blueberry plant indications on land surrounding these five acres show potential for expansion on the size of this blueberry field.
Two large stands of forest land on this parcel show significant wood value. The northwestern stand (approx. 30 acres) is treed with spruce, fir and larch. The southwestern stand is a mixture of hardwood and softwood. These stands can remain as they are or harvested for wood value.
The site of the cleared field offers a great northerly view to the distant Mabou Highlands.
