Baddeck Bay Rear: Land Details
Rare Earth Venture has been purchasing land near Baddeck since 2003 with the long term interest in developing a community of like minded people within close proximity to the Village of Baddeck . With this large area of land the type of community to be developed is open to the imagination of the developers - adult lifestyle community, solar powered community, gated access, freehold parcels, neighborhood clusters, etc.
A "greenfield" site is area of land which does not have any constraints imposed by prior work and is often a site considered for expanding urban development. Our Greenfield site is a consolidation of 11 separate parcels containing close to 300 acres and located within 3 km of downtown Baddeck.
The parcel is located north of Trans Canada Highway # 105 and is an area of woods and rolling hills with a southerly view of the Bras d'or Lakes and the Cape Breton Highlands to the north. The Bell Bay Golf course is located directly across the highway from the properties.
Greenfield site means there is lots of work to do and issues to be resolved. Rare Earth would like to sell these parcels to individuals or companies with experience and resources to bring this dream to reality.
All 11 parcels are being sold for $295,000 plus HST.
Directions to Property

Baddeck is a beautiful village with a terrific array of infrastructure.
A modern hospital, hockey arena, curling club, yacht club, boat yard and marina, a P-12 school, new seniors home constructed in 2010 & a 35 unit assisted living facility.
With a couple of golf courses, easy access to protected wilderness areas, Highland snowmobile trails, and good fishing in nearby rivers and lakes there is lots of activities for the family or retired couple.
Numerous restaurants open in the spring/summer/fall with a couple remaining open in the winter. Some great coffee stops within the Baddeck Village and a Tim Horton's at the entrance to the Village. The Bras d'Or Lakes and access to the ocean is its crowning glory.
